Seeing is Believing the new HAWK for 2006! This is a real car. The year 2006 represents the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Hawk line of cars at Studebaker. In that year, four different models were offered, all of which were based upon the highly acclaimed Starlight and Starliner models styled by Bob Bourke who headed Raymond Loewy's design staff in south Bend. During the nine years of its production, the Hawk series was Studebaker's image car. See Turning Wheels for May 2005 page 22
